1. Who we are
NexusSec vLabs ("vLabs", "we") is a remote laboratory service operated by NexusSec Labs, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. These terms govern your use of nxsvl.com, the customer portal and the lab platform.
2. Your account
You are responsible for everything done under your account. Keep your password private, do not share your login, and tell us promptly at vlabs@nxsvl.com if you believe someone else has used it. Lab credentials we issue are for you alone and must not be passed on.
Accounts on a cohort (team) plan are managed by that cohort's manager, who can add or remove members and see membership and activity for their team.
3. The service
vLabs provides scheduled access to networking and security equipment, reached through a browser. Access is time-bound: demo access, plan allowances and lab bookings each run for a stated period and end automatically.
Equipment, images and lab content may change. We aim to keep the catalogue accurate but do not guarantee that any particular lab, vendor platform or device will remain available.
4. Acceptable use
Your use is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: the labs are an isolated environment for learning, and must never be used to attack, scan or disrupt anything outside them.
5. Fees and plans
Paid plans are stated in Indian Rupees and billed for the period shown at purchase. Access begins when we confirm your payment has been received. Plans do not renew automatically unless we agree that in writing — when a period ends, access reverts to no plan until renewed.
6. Exams and certificates
Exams are assigned by an instructor, timed and marked against the published blueprint for that exam. A pass produces a certificate carrying a unique identifier that anyone may verify at verify.nxsvl.com.
We may revoke a certificate if it was issued in error, or if we find the attempt behind it breached these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. A revoked certificate shows as revoked on the verification page.
7. Your content
Configurations and files you create in a lab remain yours. They live inside a time-limited lab environment and are removed when that environment is reclaimed — keep your own copy of anything you want to retain. We do not undertake to back up or restore lab work.
8. Suspension
We may suspend or end access, without refund, where an account breaches these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, where credentials are shared, or where use threatens the platform or other customers. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why.
9. Availability
We work to keep the platform available and publish live state at nxsvl.com/status, but we do not offer an uptime guarantee unless one is agreed separately in writing. Maintenance, hardware faults and upstream network problems can interrupt access.
10. Liability
The service is provided for training and evaluation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or lost lab work.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always published here with its date. Material changes affecting a paid plan will be notified to the email on your account.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have jurisdiction.
